PLAYERS can take part in an allaction shooting and shot-stopping game during the February halfterm.

The Goalkeeping Academy hosts a keeper wars fun session on Wednesday, February 15, at Evesham High School, Four Pools Lane.

Games are played on a short pitch between pairs of goalkeepers trying to outdo their opponents.

The academy for future Joe Harts is run by West Bromwich Albion goalkeeping coach Allan Hawkins.

In the afternoon, Hawkins will hold a four-hour keeping coaching session for boys and girls aged seven to 18.

The workshop is aimed at beginners or experienced goalkeepers.

co.uk 􀁧 TRIALS take place next week for the September intake of Worcester City’s academy.

Run in conjunction with the Worcester College of Technology by former City striker Mark Owen, the course for school leavers combines football with study. The session will be held on the 3G pitch at the University of Worcester on Thursday, February 16, from 9.30am to noon.

Anyone interested can turn up on the day with the appropriate kit.
