EVESHAM United Girls Under- 10s are celebrating their first Mercian Festival Junior League win of the season.

A fine goal by Alice Keitley in the first-half was backed up by fine displays from captain Caitlyn Spotswood, defenders Melissa Radley and Naomi Marsden and keeper Mya Lyes.

􀁧 Evesham United Girls warmed up for Saturday’s Central Warwickshire League Under 18s Cup semi-final at leaders Leafield Athletic’s Rumbush Stadium, Shirley (10.30am), with a 2-1 win at Cookley.

The Premier Division side fell behind in the friendly but hit back through Laura Powers and Sophie Griffiths, while the defence, particularly Lauren Cowley, was excellent.

Badsey Rangers AMBASSADOR Evesham League Under 14s leaders Badsey Rangers stormed to a 9-0 win over Bidford Juniors. Tom Daniels and Tom Benfield both bagged hat-tricks with James Spencer, Charlie Banning and Will Green also scoring.

Eckington Juniors 􀁧􀁧 UNDER-nines: Eckington Juniors kept up their leadership of Pool ‘A2’ following a 5-0 victory over Bidford Juniors.

Aaron Harriott-Evans (2), Dylan Simmonds and Basty Brothwood (2) were on target.

􀁧􀁧 UNDER-10s: Eckington Junior Eagles served up a thrilling 4-4 draw at Crowle Searchers in Pool ‘B2’.

Holly Fenton scored a hat-trick, including a late equaliser, with Julian Shaw also finding the net as Eagles hit back from falling behind after scoring the first goal.

􀁧􀁧 UNDER-11s: Eckington JFC are still top of Pool ‘A’ after winning 4-0 in their latest encounter with Bidford Juniors.

Ben Oliver and a Max Brothwood double made it 3-0 at the interval before George Kirkland completed the scoring in the second- half.

Eckington Juniors kept pace with a tough 2-0 win at Lenches and, despite goals from Lucas Colbourne and Jack Green, their keeper Olly Heekes had to impress.

In Pool ‘B’, Badsey Rangers came away with a disappointing 4-0 loss at rivals Littleton Juniors.

Impressive keeper Joe Bagnall kept the score down, while defenders Connor Knibbs, John Barradell and Ben Holland were busy in defence.

􀁧 Evesham United Robins motored on at the top of Cheltenham Youth League Under 13s Division One with a 3-0 victory at Newent Town.

After a goalless first period, a defender headed Bradley Izod’s corner into his own net to put the Robins ahead before James Noble and Johnathon Robinson completed a hard-earned success.

􀁧􀁧 UNDER 16s: Badsey Rangers won 4-3 at Forest Green Rovers Youth in a battle of the high-fliers with most of the goals in the second period.

Jack Odell fired the visitors in front by the interval before Scott Southern added a brace, including a penalty, and Dale Simpson one followed by a Rovers fightback.
