Crime prevention event
3:20pm Sunday 5th February 2012
A CRIME prevention and advice session was held in Chipping Campden last week in response to concerns about burglary.
More than 60 people attended the event at the town hall last Thursday, which was organised by the Cotswolds Local Policing Team (LPT) and Chipping Campden Town Council.
Residents have been concerned about a lack of police presence in the town after a spate of house burglaries last October and the £200,000 silver theft at Court Barn Museum.
Acting Chief Inspector Brian Clifford of the Cotswolds LPT said it had been a very worthwhile event.
