Theft from Mercedes

ITEMS including a camera and about £200 in cash were stolen from a car in Moreton on Tuesday.
The window of a red Mercedes parked on the High Street was smashed at about 3.40am.
A brown leather satchel containing about £200 in cash and a Lumix GF1 camera and pancake lens were stolen. The offender is thought to have run from the scene onto Station Road. Officers carried out a search of the area following the incident, but no-one was found.
Anyone who saw anything suspicious in the area at that time should contact Gloucestershire Police on 101, quoting incident number 29 of January 31. Information can also be given anonymously by calling Crimestoppers on 0800 555111 or online at crimestoppers-uk.org.
Gloucestershire Police are reminding drivers to always make sure their vehicles are fully secured and remove all detachable stereo equipment, along with any other items of value, from the car.
