SUPPLY chain specialist TM Logistics, which has its headquarters in the Worcestershire village of Martley, has won an £18 million contract extension with one of the world’s leading consumer packaging companies.
Rexam Beverage Can Europe has retained the services of TML for a further five years after the company impressed them with its flexible approach and efficiencies on cost. Hugh Gallacher, European logistics director at Rexam BCE, said: “We have an excellent working relationship with TM Logistics and regard them as a valued partner and an integral member of our team.
“They align with our supply chain philosophy of cost, quality and supply and have consistently exceeded our expectations in terms of service, delivery and quality.
“They’re always looking to the future, trying to find innovative new ways of working that increase overall efficiency and boost our bottom line. That’s why we extended their contract.”
As Rexam Beverage Can’s single logistics partner in the UK for the last 10 years, TML manages all Rexam’s can and packaging storage movements nationwide, including just-in-time deliveries from their two UK sites in Milton Keynes and Wakefield.
TM Logistics employs more than 350 people in 16 on-site operations and warehouses across the UK. The firm operates throughout the UK and ranks many top name companies such as Bosch Thermotechnology, Crown Food UK, Kingspan Insulation, Saint Gobain Isover and Plastic Omnium among its customer portfolio.
